The call for innovations is open to everyone, regardless of age. Innovations can be submitted online, via the dedicated platform, until September 30th, at which point they will be evaluated by a panel of innovation experts. A selection of these proposals will be offered the opportunity to be showcased in the Lab section of the Innovation Space during ITU Telecom World 2014.
First unveiled at ITU Telecom World 2013 in Bangkok, the Lab offers a dedicated space where event participants can discuss, touch, interact with, and experience truly groundbreaking innovations. Last year's demonstrations included origami-inspired robots, gravity-powered lighting, mind-controlled games, and Paro, a therapeutic robot shaped like a baby seal.
ITU Telecom World 2014 will take place from December 7 to 10 in Doha, Qatar.
