The new online warranty system guides the partner through a series of questions to gather the relevant information. Test results can be submitted electronically or by mail. Once the Excel team has received and analyzed the results, and provided they meet the required standards, the 25-year warranty for products and applications will be issued.

The new online warranty system offers several features and benefits, including:
- Faster warranty processing.
- The Excel partner can print the warranty certificate from our website as soon as it is approved and can also send a link to a copy of the certificate directly to the end customer.
- The ability to view pending warranties online.

The Excel partner will have access to a database of all warranty claims at any time.
Regarding the new system, Simon Robinson, Excel Product Manager, comments: “Since the relaunch of the Excel Partner Program in October 2011, our technical and IT teams have worked together to improve the Excel warranty claim system. We believe this improved system will not only be faster, but will also provide much more technical documentation to both the partner and the end customer.”

“As part of the improved system,” Robinson adds, “we will also insist that all submitted test results have been performed using calibrated testing equipment and that all results will remain in Excel’s possession for a period of 25 years.”.

The Excel Partner Program involves an application process that assesses technical and commercial capabilities, commitment to comprehensive training, and passing an exam to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Excel's structured cabling system and how to design, install, and test systems according to Excel guidelines, best installation practices, and, above all, standards compliance. Once accredited, the partner can offer a 25-year warranty on products and applications.
