The featured products on display are the VS1504 / VS1508 Cat 5 A/V splitter, the VM0808T A/V matrix switch, and the KN1000KVM Over the NET™, a complete solution for remote management of kiosk systems.

The solutions that ATEN presented at ISE 2012 were:

VanCryst™ Media Distribution Solution:
The VanCryst Media Distribution solution includes the VS1504 and VS1508 Cat 5 A/V splitters (1 input / 4 or 8 outputs), the VB552 Cat 5 A/V repeater for signal repetition, the VE200R A/V receiver, and the VE510 video synchronizer for long-distance signal amplification. The Media Distribution solution is a flexible, scalable, and efficient way to transmit high-quality audio and video content from a single source to multiple displays. In a three-level cascade, signals can be sent to hundreds of displays, consequently expanding bridged distances from 150 to 450 meters.

VanCryst™ Media Matrix Solution:

The VanCryst Media Matrix solution combines the VM0808T, an 8-input, 8-output Cat 5 A/V matrix switch, and the VE500 Over Cat 5 extender to deliver high-quality audio and video content over Cat 5e (or higher) cabling from up to eight input sources to multiple displays over distances of up to 300 meters. Thanks to ATEN's independent switching technology, audio and video signals can be freely combined and flexibly routed to output devices. Users can connect any audio source to any video source for greater output flexibility. The solution provides a browser-based web interface for remote access via the internet. Additionally, the VM0808T comes standard with a ninth input/output port for connecting an additional local video source and display, which can be used as a reference during the switching process.

The VS1504 or VS1508 Cat 5 A/V splitter and the VM0808T A/V matrix switch include an RS-232/RS-485 serial port for integrating serial devices such as touchscreens. The VanCryst product family is an efficient and cost-effective solution for transmitting audio and video signals. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including digital signage (in-store, point of sale, and trade shows), HD monitor/display testing, information transmission in public spaces, cinema lobbies, customer service centers, control and information centers, sporting events, sports facilities, classrooms, auditoriums, conference rooms, training centers, casinos, transportation and logistics centers, traffic control centers, and port facility security.

KN1000 KVM Over the NET™
is a complete solution for the remote management of terminals, kiosks, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and automated systems. With KVM over IP, the entire installation can be controlled, maintained, and managed via a web browser. For example, the integrated power management interface allows users to conveniently power on, power off, and restart individual computer systems or servers over the internet. Similarly, network switches and other serial control devices can be configured using the KN1000. The KN1000's integrated Virtual Media function allows users to perform diagnostic tests, file transfers, and OS and application patches from a remote console. There is no need to physically load a system disk directly onto the local server. Furthermore, the control unit can be used for efficient BIOS-level troubleshooting from anywhere.
