To increase savings and reduce bandwidth costs, BreezeMAX Extreme 1.5 doubles the transfer rate, reaching 80 Mbps, and offers coverage up to 40 km. This allows WISPs, as well as public and private companies, to improve their return on investment and enhance the quality of services offered to their users. To meet the growing needs of public and private security solutions, Alvarion implements improved multicast video performance, enabling a dedicated 2 Mbps uplink for each video camera. Meanwhile, the signal can be received simultaneously by multiple clients via a single downlink, with the added benefit of saving bandwidth that can be used for other applications.
Interference mitigation is enhanced through automatic spectrum analysis, which is activated automatically when the base station starts up or in case of signal degradation, and dynamic channel selection (DCS). The ability to link a single GPS device to the same base station reduces costs in multi-sector deployments, while the improved quality of the IDU units significantly reduces the final price of the customer premises equipment (CPE).
Simple operation, CARRIER CLASS service quality and superior radio technology, among other features, allow BreezeMAX Extreme to meet the needs and demands of integrators and end customers, in different deployment scenarios and business models.
