Designed for small and medium-sized businesses in ISDN markets, the IPv6-compatible SN5530 is a Session Border Controller (E-SBC), offering seamless migration to IP telephony for up to eight VoIP calls or T.38 fax calls and up to 512 SIP-SIP calls.

Patton's SN5530 ESBR addresses four common challenges for SMEs in the ISDN market:

• IP enables the existing ISDN phone system for SIP communications, with the option of PSTN fallback to maintain communications in case of failure.

• Integrates ISDN and SIP telephony systems for gradual migration to all-IP, with SIP Trunk and PSTN connections.

• Replace the expensive TDM link to the ISDN PBX with a low-cost SIP Trunk.

• Connect the IP PBX to the PTSN over BRIs

Regarding high security requirements, the new SN5530 ESBR supports up to five simultaneous calls with encrypted SRTP voice and encoded TLS signal.

Additionally, G.722 HD voice can be optionally included, which, combined with Patton's DownStreamQoS technology, offers the highest voice quality in the VoIP industry.

The configuration domain ensures secure separation between the client's WAN and LAN networks, with a clear SIP demarcation point; while the included WEB Wizard simplifies and speeds up configuration by the client.

The optional high clock accuracy of 5 ppm prevents common interoperability problems for DECT, PBX and FAX in ISDN environments.

The SN5530, like all Patton products, comes with Gold-Standard Free Support at no extra cost. Platinum-Plus Premium 24/7 Support is also available.
