EcoStruxure IT Expert, Cloud-Based Monitoring:
The first EcoStruxure IT application now available is the monitoring application, EcoStruxure™ IT Expert. This application enables IT solution providers to offer remote monitoring services with real-time data and proactive recommendations. Leveraging big data and intelligent benchmarking, from distributed IT environments to the data center, EcoStruxure IT Expert provides a faster and easier way to deliver the services and support customers require as they become increasingly reliant on their critical IT infrastructure.
“EcoStruxure IT Expert provides a foundation for giving Partners visibility across multiple customer sites and for developing new potential revenue streams,” said Kim Polvsen, Vice President & General Manager of Digital Services & Data Center Software at Schneider Electric. “In the near future, we will be adding more features and applications to EcoStruxure IT for Partners, giving our Partners new capabilities to remotely access customer sites and improve efficiency and control, reducing the need for on-site visits.”
Among the key advantages of EcoStruxure IT Expert is its vendor-independent, multi-tenant monitoring platform, which helps partners expand their service offerings to include energy and cooling. Furthermore, for non-contract customers, partners can resell it as Software as a Service (SaaS) to generate recurring revenue.
EcoStruxure IT Expert also offers complete visibility into your customers' infrastructure – in the cloud or at the edge – with data-driven recommendations to improve performance and efficiency and reduce costs; as well as a complete view of inventory, alarms and recommendations to implement, plus analytics and benchmarking.
EcoStruxure IT, being part of Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure architecture, operates across all IoT-enabled physical infrastructure assets, such as power and cooling, including the new Smart-UPS with APC SmartConnect, a cloud-enabled UPS designed to be fast and cost-effective in small distributed environment deployments.
