Combined with the latest Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Intel® Optane™ technology enables the management of larger datasets at a lower cost, allowing for greater insights to be extracted from larger memory pools. Intel® Optane™ SSD DC P4800X solid-state drives are ideal for storage workloads such as storage area networks (SANs) and software-defined storage, as well as cloud, database, big data, and high-performance computing workloads.
The new capacity follows the 375GB half-height, half-length external module launched earlier this year. Intel® Optane™ SSD DC P4800X Series solid-state drives are also available starting this month as part of the Intel® Select Solutions program and through OEM manufacturers, cloud service providers, and distributors.
