The EfiCab cabinet improves the thermal efficiency of data center equipment with its advanced ventilation system installed in the rear rack door. Its monitoring and supervision system minimizes service interruption with solutions encompassing a wide variety of power distribution units (PDUs) for vertical and horizontal mounting. EfiCab features a modular security philosophy and a design adjustable to customer needs (including door detection, local keypad for code-based access, etc.), among other features.
Another SME product showcased at CeBIT 2012 is the new EfiCube aisle enclosure cube, designed to separate the cold aisle from the hot aisle, minimizing the mixing of cold air with the return hot air, thus contributing to a significant decrease in the energy consumption index of Data Centers and therefore the annual energy costs in the cooling system.
