HDCVI HD-over-coaxial technology features simultaneous audio and video transmission that maintains its performance even over long distances. It can also operate independently without a network, meeting the requirements of IoT technology: real-time, local offline control, high security performance, etc. Building on this, Dahua was the first to introduce "HDCVI-IoT" technology, combining existing high-security HDCVI video surveillance with IoT. The solution consists of a smarter offline monitoring and control system. One of the core IoT technologies is the integration of sensors and transceivers into each device, enabling the device to perceive and analyze.
Motion Eye Camera,
thanks to its integrated high-performance PIR (passive infrared) sensor and video analytics, can accurately detect situations (such as a moving dog) and changes in the natural environment (such as rustling leaves) and trigger alarms in real time.
Features and Applications of the LinCa Series:
HDCVI-IoT technology operates in four stages: to "detect" and "send" information with the front-end camera, to "calculate" and "control" the scenario via back-end storage. For small and medium-sized offline, local IoT applications, Dahua has developed a series of front-end products – LinCa – which includes a 2-megapixel camera (LC1200T-TH) with a built-in high-precision temperature and humidity sensor and a 2-megapixel camera (LC1200SL-W) with a wireless gateway, both supported by back-end storage with a built-in intelligent control algorithm and easy Ethernet access.
LC1200T-TH: Temperature and Humidity Always Under Control.
The LC1200T-TH front-end camera can capture images and data when temperature and humidity exceed preset levels, simultaneously triggering an alarm via the back-end linkage control system. This, in turn, regulates the air conditioning, lighting, and misting systems to restore a normal environment. Furthermore, it can also manage data in real time via the back-end and compile data reports to prevent potential energy losses resulting from inefficient air conditioning use.
LC1200SL-W: The Ultimate Smart Alarm.
Based on the low-power wireless transceiver integrated into the 2MP HDCVI camera, a single camera provides access to up to 32 wireless alarm devices within a 100m perimeter. The link camera is compatible with 433 MHz, 868 MHz, and 915 MHz, the three main global wireless communication frequencies, and complies with the Dahua Airfly protocol. Through wireless transmission, the detection device sends the alarm signal to the camera, which captures images and transmits the alarm signal, superimposed with the video signal, to back-end devices via coaxial cable. Real-time surveillance images appear on the monitor screen and trigger the alarm. Both signals are stored, allowing users to easily search and review video clips corresponding to the alarm equipment's serial number.
The system is simple to install and can be mounted independently and operated without an internet connection. It is highly secure, and the rapid video transmission and alarm activation ensure timely notification when an incident occurs. When connected to the internet, it enables remote control, allowing local authorities to respond simultaneously via Alarm Center. Storage and labeling technology, as well as intelligent back-end video segmentation, facilitate post-event investigation.
