2N has added new features to its devices by updating the Operating System (OS). The improvements offered by the update support flexible work and ensure that 2N devices can be used by people with hearing impairments.Similarly, two-way video is also a response to the increased demand for inclusion in device functionality, as it allows people with hearing difficulties to communicate using sign language.
The new update offers significant security advantages in two ways:
First, the ONVIF configuration has been completely revised, with 2N intercoms now supporting both T and S profiles. Profile S already supported basic video streaming; Profile T enables advanced video streaming. Both features open up a new range of possibilities, including motion and tamper detection, as well as two-way audio support. This expands integration options with third-party security devices, allowing customers to connect 2N devices within fully integrated security solutions.
Secondly, the new 2N OS improves the quality of images sent to the 2N® Indoor View answering unit, a 7″ touchscreen designed for luxury residential projects. The update also makes it easier for users to zoom in on the image on the answering unit so they can more clearly see the caller's face, name tag, or ID, just as they would on their phone. At the same time, and for the first time, the update allows visitors to leave a voice message on the 2N® Indoor View when the resident is not in the building.
