For example, if a police officer presses the emergency button in a life-threatening situation, the radio will be able to automatically activate the body camera in the future, without the officer having to initiate the process separately. The introduction of the MXP600 will help agencies flexibly evolve their mission-critical solutions while allowing them to take full advantage of secure voice radio communications:
• Clear audio even in the noisiest environments. The MXP600 uses smart microphone technology to suppress background noise and has a maximum volume that is approximately four times louder than that of a typical smartphone. When working in windy environments, the device automatically uses the speaker as an additional microphone optimized to reduce wind noise. When multiple radios are in close proximity, the MXP600 automatically eliminates acoustic feedback to enable effective communication.
• Accelerated device management to keep frontline workers operational.
Over-the-air programming (OTAP) allows radio stations to update their programming on the fly in minutes, eliminating the time, logistics, and costs associated with traditional radio programming. OTAP is fast, secure, and convenient, maximizing the productivity of frontline workers and helping to keep them operational.

Use your radio the way that suits you best, with a smartphone app that lets you navigate talkgroups, send secure messages, and make discreet radio communications when needed. The new M-RadioControl app offers a flexible way for smartphones to work alongside the MXP600. The MXP600's built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) technology makes pairing quick and easy, while Bluetooth 5.0 ensures a secure wireless connection between the radio, smartphone, and other devices.
