Synology® Inc. has launched the RackStation RS1219+ server, a new 2U rackmount NAS with 8 bays that allows for great storage scalability and features M.2 SSD support to boost its performance.

Thanks to its compact chassis design, the RS1219+ is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that are starting their businesses without having a substantial investment for building a data center.

The RS1219+ server features a large capacity in its 2-column rack and with a depth of 30.5 cm.

“The storage capacity of the RS1219+ server can be upgraded to 144 TB by connecting an RX418 expansion unit. This provides growing businesses with a data storage solution that scales to their needs and performance, and allows for reduced latency by utilizing M.2 SATA SSD caching with a Dual SSM M.2 adapter card via the PCIe slot. All of this is achieved without occupying the front drive bays.”.

RackStation RS1219+ runs with DiskStation Manager.

Synology's Extended Warranty (EW202) is a complementary service that can be purchased together with the RS1219+, available in selected regions worldwide, including Spain, and allows you to enjoy up to five years of hardware warranty coverage.
