• Quality of Service (QoS). InfiniBox R4 also includes QoS (quality of service) capabilities based on INFINIDAT's exclusive neural cache technology, which eliminates storage constraints. "InfiniBox R4's QoS capability allows us to offer multiple service levels and achieve exceptional performance without having to purchase and manage multiple tiers of physical storage," explains Broido.
• Asynchronous NAS replication. InfiniBox R4 also integrates asynchronous replication, offering a SAN-like feature set with a leading Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of 4 seconds, 10 times faster than the current market leader. This feature enables effortless cloud-level file system replication, with billions of files per file system, with zero latency impact.
• NAS quota management (NAS TreeQs). Enables granular control over file system management, allowing user quotas to be assigned at the directory level, simplifying migration from legacy NAS environments.
During the testing cycle prior to the first customer installation, the system achieved a record-breaking 1.8 Exabytes of I/O throughput. Furthermore, InfiniBox R4 also represents a new level of quality assurance, with seven nines (99.99999%) availability, which equates to less than three seconds of downtime per year.
