The new product family exemplifies the application of patented technology that allows for a reduction in antenna size without compromising radio frequency performance. This development is the result of Ficosa's diversification efforts and is part of its Advanced Communications product range for Security, Defense, and Aeronautics.
The antenna exhibits an omnidirectional radiation pattern across the entire frequency range of interest, starting at 500 MHz. It offers excellent gain and efficiency performance in a very compact size (70 mm maximum height). Weighing less than 70 grams, it is easily integrated into any aircraft platform.
The antenna's manufacturing materials have been selected to ensure proper functioning under the restrictive mechanical and environmental conditions in which it will operate. The antennas are verified according to MIL-STD-810 environmental standards.
