inertial-localization-module-wThe new Gnd-r5 module incorporates a "mems" technology inertial sensor that continuously captures the vehicle's direction and processes it in real time with the distance traveled information captured from the vehicle's odometer.

The Gnd-r5 module is inserted between the GPS UART and the system MCU UART. When the information received from the GPS module does not contain a valid location, the Gnd-r5 module replaces it with an equivalent frame containing the vehicle's location calculated by its Dead Reckoning algorithm, maintaining position information as if it were still receiving a perfect signal from the GPS satellites.
