This is a simulator for GPS, Galileo, simultaneous GPS/Galileo, SBAS satellites, and WASS/EGNOS. It offers programming and control via a large color touchscreen. Static simulation and dynamic programming of multi-stage routes are possible by easily inputting waypoints. 3D position simulation can also be performed by the user in latitude/longitude/altitude format. The device allows for the storage of a large number of routes and navigation plans, which can be accessed using the user-assigned name for each route. This instrument incorporates an internal GPS receiver, enabling the simulation of signals referenced as an offset to the actual GPS position. It incorporates digital noise generation for direct receiver testing.
The GPS1000 simulator includes an option that, together with the Aeroflex 4400 mobile phone tester, allows for testing the GPS function built into many current mobile phones.
Aeroflex is distributed by Adler Instruments.
