IQD has released a series of quartz crystals that can operate in basic mode up to 200 MHz. The quartz crystals are housed in a hermetically sealed, 4-terminal ceramic casing measuring 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.6 mm (IQXC-152) and 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.5 mm (IQXC-153); two of the terminals are grounded to the metal cap to improve electromagnetic interference.
In a high frequency range of 70 MHz to 200 MHz they exhibit a frequency tolerance of ±30 ppm with a stability of ±30 ppm over the entire industrial operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C with a capacitive load between 8 and 30 pF.
With the IQXC-152 and IQXC-153 models, development engineers can use high frequencies in basic mode and can dispense with a PLL or tank circuit to collect the 3rd, 5th, or 7th harmonics. Thus, for example, a high startup frequency can be used for 2.4 GHz generation, reducing the jitter/phase noise value during switching.
They are available in the "Tape and reel" or "Cut tape" packaging options.
