The MW82119B provides tower and maintenance contractors, network installers, and wireless service providers with the first handheld passive field intermodulation (PIM) analyzer with line sweep capability, so it can fully certify a cell site's cable and antenna systems.
Unlike competing products, the MW82119B PIM Master with Site Master™ option enables a wide range of on-site testing. Field users can perform PIM measurements over time, PIM sweep, distance-to-PIM (DTM), return loss, VSWR, cable loss, and distance-to-fault (DTF). In addition to eliminating the need to carry multiple instruments to the top of a tower, the integrated MW82119B PIM Master allows all site data to be stored in one location, facilitating easy retrieval.
The MW82119B PIM Master maintains the durability established over more than a decade by Anritsu's portable field analyzers. It exceeds the MIL-STD-810G drop test and is designed to withstand shocks during transport, vibrations, and harsh weather conditions. The MW82119B PIM Master also meets IP54 protection standards, certifying its ability to function without damage after exposure to dust and water spray.
Recognizing the environments in which it will be used, Anritsu has designed the MW82119B PIM Master with a large, externally visible 8.4-inch display and an intuitive user interface optimized for field conditions. New stainless steel lifting rings on the housing and a padded carrying case make the analyzer very practical for hoisting during tower top testing. The analyzer's robust design, light weight, and compact size allow for PIM and line sweep testing at the very top of the tower.

: Nine models are available within the MW82119B PIM Master family for the most widespread wireless networks. The analyzers cover the 700 MHz LTE bands (upper to lower) in North America, the 700 MHz APT band, the 800 MHz LTE band, the 850 MHz cellular band, the 900 MHz E-GSM band, the 1800 MHz DCS band, the 1900/2100 MHz AWS band, the 2100 MHz UMTS band, and the 2600 MHz LTE band.
