In both frequency ranges, the FSC is available with an internal tracking generator that provides additional functionality such as cable loss measurement and easy determination of DUT transmission characteristics, such as filters or amplifiers.
The FSC analyzer is 3U in a 1/2 19-inch rack, making it ideal for installation in small mobile measurement systems. Depending on the application, it is possible to install one FSC and one SMC signal generator or two FSC analyzers in a 19-inch rack. This highly efficient spectrum analyzer consumes only 12 W. The benefit to users comes not only from the compact design but also from the high efficiency of this cost-effective analyzer. The device can also be installed in vehicles for field measurements such as monitoring satellite communication links.
