The S331P, which meets the market need for wide frequency coverage and high performance in an extremely compact and economical design, provides operators, wireless network contractors, DAS and public safety network installers, as well as maintenance professionals, with the first processor-free, pocket-sized cable and antenna analyzer that can measure the new LTE-U frequencies.
Two models are available, covering 150 kHz to 4 GHz and 150 kHz to 6 GHz. This unique bandwidth capability makes the S331P the only ultra-portable cable and antenna analyzer suitable for low-frequency communication environments, including public safety networks, and higher-frequency applications such as LTE-U in the unlicensed 5 GHz band. With a sweep speed of 500 µs/data point, the S331P is the fastest Site Master on the market for more efficient testing.
The ultra-portable S331P uses the same user interface as the market-leading Site Master S331L, offering field technicians and engineers easy operation, even in the most challenging field environments. It features Integrated Help to assist users during measurements, as well as a Classic Mode that retains the look and feel of the Site Master for simplified testing. Advanced Mode boasts an innovative graphical user interface with a modern key layout and functionality. Advanced Mode also increases the number of available cursors to eight and includes six customizable touchscreen icons for quick recall of frequently used settings, making operation easier and more efficient.
Optimized for field use, the S331P comes standard with an N(m) connector for easy direct connection to N(f) devices, eliminating the need for phase-stable cables. The durable and reliable S331P features a shock-, dust-, and splash-resistant housing. It is externally controlled and USB-powered from a user-supplied Windows tablet or laptop, eliminating the need for a battery.
The Site Master S331P provides users with the proven Site Master experience and access to Anritsu's powerful suite of software applications, including Line Sweep Tools (LST), Handheld Software Tools (HHST), easyTest Tools™, and the award-winning cloud-based trace management solution SkyBridge Tools™. Users can quickly view stored sweeps, as well as edit, rename, and save sweeps, and rapidly generate PDF or HTML reports using the LST software. The Site Master S331P uses the standard *.dat sweep file format and is compatible with HHST, commonly used by mobile operators, making the solution compatible with most standard workflow procedures.
EasyTest Tools and SkyBridge Tools streamline testing processes for DAS facility workflows by enabling reliable and rapid test plan creation, fast and accurate testing, and reporting assistance.
