The VectorStar VNA system incorporates Anritsu's NLTL (Non-linear Transmission Line) millimeter wave modules. This design allows the 220 GHz probe to be connected to the millimeter wave module for precise and stable measurements on the wafer, thus eliminating the limitations of coaxial connectors at frequencies below 1 THz.
The 220 GHz ME7838G leverages the capabilities of the VectorStar broadband platform in a single sweep without requiring wafer test station changes in the 110 GHz and higher waveguide bands. Its design allows engineers to take measurements on a wide variety of circuits on the same wafer without switching from a coaxial microwave VNA to a coaxial millimeter wave VNA or a waveguide millimeter wave VNA.
