Keysight Technologies, Inc. has announced the company's next generation of multi-purpose portable microwave analyzers, the FieldFox B-series, which provides measurement accuracy and up to 100 MHz bandwidth for real-time, broadband spectrum analysis enabling 5G testing in the field. Accurate microwave measurements are increasingly necessary in challenging and hard-to-reach environments, encompassing a wide range of conditions: day or night, rain or shine, heat or cold; aboard a ship, aircraft, or in a vehicle. In these situations, a portable instrument must be capable of performing the necessary measurements with accuracy and performance.
Keysight's new FieldFox B Series analyzers offer real-time, gap-free, and wideband measurement capabilities that enable on-site 5G network testing. Furthermore, these new capabilities allow customers to locate and identify even the shortest-lived interference threats to their satellite communication networks. Designed to withstand the harshest working conditions, the rugged and durable FieldFox B Series handheld analyzers offer customers the following advantages:
- 100 MHz real-time bandwidth for accurate testing of cellular base stations
- Compliant with PRF 28800F to withstand explosive shocks and humid weather conditions
- 10 dB improvement in average represented noise level (DANL) for measuring low-noise signals and detecting weak interference sources
- Capture, playback, and analysis of raw I/Q data for electronic warfare testing
- Save time and space in the field kit with a task-based user interface for each mode of operation
- Manage routine maintenance and troubleshooting in depth and with precision, including multiple measurement applications to meet specific measurement needs
