DSA875 01-w spectrum analyzerWith specifications that far exceed those of the DSA815-TG, these new instruments enable direct measurements of higher-performance signals and systems.
For the design and development of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other RF standards, SSB phase noise drops to -98 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz, allowing engineers to more accurately analyze modulations and ambient noise in their signals of interest. This is important for debugging and immunity testing of transceiver systems. The 7.5 GHz instrument allows engineers to investigate the 3rd harmonic of all their critical 2.4 GHz applications. Furthermore, the bandwidth resolution setting drops to 10 Hz, resulting in more precise visualization of low-power RF signals. If you are still debugging your RF transceiver assembly, redesigning the layout and configuration to maximize efficiency, or testing the system in noisy environments, the DSA800 Series spectrum analyzers will help you quickly and easily identify and analyze the areas of interest.
While the DSA815 has become a go-to tool for pre-compliance testing, the extended range of the DSA832 (up to 3.2 GHz) allows for more comprehensive EMI testing coverage. With the EMI-DSA800 option, you can enable EMI RBW configuration and Quasi-Peak filtering across the entire spectrum of interest for compliance and immunity testing. Find and evaluate even lower-power issues with the preamplifier option (PA-DSA832 or PA-DSA875).
Using the preamplifier, it displays the average normalized noise level (DANL) at 1 Hz, specified as low as -161 dBm (typical) from 5 MHz to 3.2 GHz.
Built on the popular and robust DSA800 platform, the new DSA832 and DSA875 have a comprehensive set of features and options, including a suite of VSWR measurement tools for antenna configuration and evaluation, as well as an advanced measurement kit (DSA800-AMK) that enables additional measurement functions, including channel limits and signal-to-noise ratios. New accessories include the 8 GHz VSWR bridge or directional coupler (VB1080), as well as new accessory packs for 75 Ohm operation (CATV RF Kit), and attenuation assemblies for higher power applications, including the RF Attenuator Kit with 6 and 10 dB attenuators, or the ATT03301H high-power 30 dB attenuator. The expansion of the DSA800 series of 3.2 and 7.5 GHz spectrum analyzers continues our efforts to bring Rigol's unparalleled value to new industries and engineers who demand flexible products for their increasingly challenging high-performance RF testing requirements. With these two new spectrum analyzers, Rigol expands its existing RF portfolio, including the new DSG3000 RF source series, for further establishment in the professional RF testing market.
Rigol will also introduce new EMI testing software for pre-compliance testing in the coming weeks for a comprehensive RF testing offering.
