This package is designed for use with Anritsu's MT822xB BTS Master™ and MS272xC Spectrum Master™ families and provides operators, network equipment manufacturers, subcontractors, and installers involved in LTE network deployments with a powerful handheld instrument for testing, verifying, and reporting transmitter quality and coverage at the base station.

With the TD-LTE RF measurement option installed, the MT822xB and MS272xC can measure channel spectrum, power over time, Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio (ACLR), and Spectral Emission Mask (SEM). An RF chart can be displayed so users can view all results on the instrument's large screen.

Field technicians and engineers can use the TD-LTE Modulation Measurement option to perform constellation measurements and control channel power tests. The modulation panel displays the reference signal power, sync signal power, EVM, frequency error, cell ID, and PBCH power.

Measurements available with the TD-LTE OTA Measurement option include cell ID, group ID, sector ID, and sync signal (S-SS) power for the six strongest signals. It also indicates S-SS dominance. The five most important measurements—reference signal power, sync signal power, EVM, frequency error, and carrier frequency—can also be displayed.

Covering frequencies up to 43 GHz, the MS272xC Spectrum Master series offers the widest frequency range currently available in a handheld spectrum analyzer. The MS272xC series also incorporates a suite of applications for RF physical layer testing, making it easier than ever for field technicians, monitoring agencies, and engineers to monitor over-the-air signals, locate interference sources, and detect hidden transmitters.

The MS272xC eliminates the need to carry heavy spectrum analyzers in the field to measure signals above 20 GHz, such as those used in microwave link applications. To further reduce the load, the MS272xC Spectrum Master integrates a spectrum analyzer and can be configured with a channel scanner and interference analyzer to perform the most common measurements, eliminating the need for multiple instruments.

The BTS Master MT822xB is ideal for experienced RF technicians and engineers to quickly and accurately test and verify the installation and commissioning of base stations and cell sites on-site. When the goal is to meet key performance indicators, such as missed call rates, denied calls, or call blocking due to cell facility malfunctions or interference, BTS Master is the comprehensive tool that helps users resolve problems quickly.
