Even users with no experience operating test and measurement equipment can, for example, check for cable faults using the distance-to-fault (DTF) measurement function or measure antenna impedance and insulation. Measurement errors due to incorrect equipment configuration are a thing of the past. Network operators can now adapt the “Wizards” in the lab to their own measurement protocols and offer them to their service providers for use at the antenna site. The predefined measurement protocols, available in various file formats, allow for verification of the correct execution of tasks. The R&S ZVH reduces the time required for compliance measurements, the need for training, and maintenance costs.
100 dB dynamic range
Thanks to its RF capabilities, the R&S ZVH is one of the best analyzers in its class. It is the only cable and antenna analyzer on the market that offers a 100 dB dynamic range, thus complying with the standard that sets a dynamic range of >90 dB for repeater measurements. This portable analyzer replaces conventional measurement systems consisting of a signal generator and a spectrum analyzer. The integrated DC power supply provides power to active devices under test (DUTs), such as amplifiers, at both measurement ports via the RF cable. This feature is especially useful for tower amplifiers (TMAs).
