Phased Array System Toolbox helps users model end-to-end phased array antenna systems or process acquired radar data using new features for polarization, array perturbation, and broadband arrays. SimRF includes a new circuit envelope solver to accelerate simulation and model load times and expands its component library for system-level functional radio frequency simulation. These enhancements help radar and communications system designers model increasingly complex scenarios with greater accuracy and performance.

Key new features in Phased Array System Toolbox include:
• Monostatic and multistatic modeling of radar systems, including point targets, free propagation, surface stray echoes, and barrier perturbation, to help calculate the maximum range, peak power, and signal-to-noise ratio of a radar system.
• Modeling of sensor arrays and subarrays with arbitrary geometries for beam pattern analysis of linear, planar, and conformal sensor arrays.
• Polarization and platform motion specification for arrays and targets.
• GPU support for accelerating parasitic echo modeling.

Key improvements to SimRF include:
• Faster simulation of multi-carrier frequency circuit envelopes for arbitrary architectures. Combined with equivalent baseband technology for discrete simulation of single-carrier cascaded systems, this enables fast system-level RF simulation and modeling.
• Reduced simulation startup time.
• Easier configuration of circuit envelope simulation with an improved configuration block, including an unlimited number of simulation frequencies and automatic fundamental tone selection.
• New models for active and passive components (amplifier, mixer, LC scaler, transformer, and noise) and the ability to create custom SimRF models using the Simscape language.
