The DLM5000HD series offers 12-bit vertical resolution, which is 16 times higher than the current DLM5000 series, for greater accuracy in waveform display.
This is particularly beneficial for developers of next-generation inverters, enabling the precise observation of high-speed signal changes. This allows for the detection of phenomena that can cause unexpected anomalies.

Another useful feature of the DLM5000HD series is its time-saving serial bus analysis auto-setup function, which automatically assigns the optimal sampling rate and threshold level and can be used with previously captured waveforms. This means that auto-setup can even be used with low-frequency signals, improving the efficiency of in-vehicle bus development and evaluation work.

The DLM5000HD series can store up to 1 GP of acquired data, twice that of the DLM5000 series. This allows the user to save up to 200,000 historical waveforms. Furthermore, doubling the number of waveforms that can be searched and compared using this memory means that a single device can measure the behavior of braking systems and other equipment that requires high-throughput sampling over several milliseconds, improving evaluation efficiency and analysis.

As with the DLM5000 series, measurements can be captured with up to 16 analog channels and 64 logic bits (8 x 8-bit channels) using the dual synchronization option DLMsync to operate two 8-channel units. This allows simultaneous analog and logic measurements, for example, to analyze startup sequences while debugging a control unit.
