Like other MXO models, these oscilloscopes utilize the next-generation MXO-EP processing ASIC, technology developed by Rohde & Schwarz, to deliver:
• 4.5 million acquisitions per second: the fastest in the industry, allowing users to instantly detect additional signal details and rare events.
• 600,000 trigger events per second with zone triggering: the fastest and most flexible in the industry, allowing users to isolate events in the time domain, including mathematical operations, and signals in the frequency domain.
• 50,000 FFTs per second: up to 1,000 times faster than other oscilloscopes, providing faster and more comprehensive analysis for applications such as harmonic and EMI testing.
• 600,000 mathematical operations per second: the best in the industry and up to 100,000 times faster than competing models, allowing users to accurately analyze signals such as power, which requires current and voltage multiplication.

All MXO 3 models are designed with advanced technology to ensure precise measurement isolation and reliable results:
• 12-bit vertical resolution in hardware, across all sampling rates, allows users to observe minute changes in the signal, even in high-amplitude signals, offering 16 times the resolution of traditional 8-bit oscilloscopes.
• HD mode enhances signal details that would otherwise be obscured by noise. It offers noise reduction and up to 18-bit vertical resolution, the highest in the industry. Unlike other oscilloscopes, HD mode operates at the full sampling rate and is implemented in hardware, ensuring accuracy without sacrificing speed.
• With the widest offset range in its class, MXO 3 users can utilize the most sensitive vertical scale setting to detect more signal detail and minimize measurement system noise. The MXO 3 oscilloscopes offer a ±3 V wide offset at 1 mV/div on 50 Ω and 1 MΩ input paths, two to three times better than other leading models in this category.

The MXO 3 four- and eight-channel oscilloscopes are designed with a compact and portable form factor, allowing for easy placement even on instrument-heavy benches. Their small size frees up more space for the creative chaos of engineering work environments. Combined with low perceptible noise, the MXO 3 ensures a distraction-free work environment.
• An 11.6" full HD capacitive touchscreen, combined with an intuitive user interface, provides an enhanced user experience for engineers who spend a lot of time working with the instrument.
• Its lightweight design, at only about 4 kg, makes the MXO 3 easy to transport.
• 5U rack height ensures efficient use of limited space in labs or test environments.
• The MXO 3's VESA mount compatibility adds even more flexibility to engineering environments.

The MXO 3 series oscilloscopes are available in four- and eight-channel models, with bandwidth options of 100 MHz, 200 MHz, 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz. The starting price for the eight-channel models sets a new industry benchmark for affordability at just €12,500, while the starting price for the four-channel models is €5,350.

Users with more demanding requirements have access to various expansion options, including 16 integrated digital channels with a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) option, a 50 MHz arbitrary waveform generator, protocol triggering and decoding options for industry-standard buses, and a frequency response analyzer that expand the instrument's functionality.
