The new Infiniium EXR series of mixed-signal oscilloscopes (EXR-Series) is a professional engineering tool for general-purpose debugging. The ASICs in the Infiniium EXR and MXR families have seven integrated applications, including oscilloscope, digital voltmeter (DVM), waveform generator, Bode plotter, counters, protocol analyzer, and logic analyzer. The EXR series offers up to eight analog channels capable of simultaneous operation at 2.5 GHz with 16 independent digital channels.
The Infiniium EXR and MXR offer advanced applications and features with a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen, providing users with easy access to both built-in and powerful advanced applications. Infiniium applications automate complex tasks such as power supply characterization and measurement, covering basic and advanced measurements, and analyzing switching losses, RDS(ON), control loop response, efficiency, transient response, inrush current, current harmonics, and power transistor losses during a cycle.
The touchscreen is complemented by the ability to mirror or extend the desktop to another monitor, increasing overall productivity. The built-in Fault Hunter functionality automatically analyzes the normal signal for 30 seconds and initiates advanced triggers to find infrequent or random faults in the signal. The EXR series can automatically initiate a physical layer fault search with the push of a button. Infiniium users can analyze data anywhere with the advanced Infiniium Offline software.
