This release brings Agilent's extensive measurement expertise—including advanced measurement software and high-performance hardware—to a modular form factor. It also provides new features not previously available with analog, digital, radio frequency, microwave, and fiber optic test technologies.
Among these 46 new PXI and AXIe products from Agilent are digitizers, arbitrary waveform generators, digitizing oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and switchers. The modules include software drivers for IVI-C, IVI-COM, and LabVIEW(G), and enhanced input/output (I/O) libraries. All drivers are optimized for test applications that demand high performance, speed, and productivity.

The Agilent M9392A, the first single-vendor PXI microwave vector signal analyzer (VSA), is enhanced by Agilent's powerful and well-established VSA 89600 software. This combination enables detailed analysis of communications, radar, and avionics signals up to 26.5 GHz and provides a leading 250 MHz instantaneous bandwidth for use in next-generation wireless systems and other applications.

The new M9018A PXIe chassis delivers the highest performance and flexibility on the market with 16 hybrid slots. The M9018A is designed for data-intensive applications in communications, imaging, and radar that require high bandwidth 1) module-to-module or 2) between modules and the system controller.

The first two AXIe 1.0 chassis, available in two (2U) and five (4U) slot models, offer the advantages of AXIe, with powerful power, cooling, and timing systems on a multi-vendor platform. The large AXIe board size is ideal for high-performance instrumentation while requiring minimal rack space.

The Agilent U4301A PCIe Gen 3 analyzer, the first measurement module capable of operating in an AXIe chassis, can perform protocol testing and accurately capture multi-gigabit signals. The open nature of this module allows customers to analyze broader serial buses and conduct multi-domain testing in digital and computing applications.
