This gateway uses Over-The-Air Activation and listens on eight different frequencies simultaneously. This allows it to capture data transmitted via LoRaWAN from sensors located up to 20 km away. The channels can be configured and updated locally or remotely, reducing maintenance costs and optimizing energy efficiency.
The WebdynEasy LoRaWAN can be used in many IoT applications. In Smart Cities, for example, very low energy is needed for waste management, where a vast network of smart containers periodically sends data to manage garbage collection. In Smart Home and Smart Building management, it's necessary to monitor various sensors (temperature, lighting, alarms, etc.) and meters (electricity, water, gas, etc.) several times a day. In Smart Agriculture and automated irrigation, monitoring of weather, soil moisture, and valve activation and deactivation is required. In Smart Healthcare, it can be very useful for tracking Covid-19 contacts, monitoring air quality and social distancing, managing surveillance devices, and more. The same can be said for many other IoT verticals such as Smart Metering, Industry 4.0, Smart Retail, Smart Supply Chain & Logistics, and others.
Another strength of the WebdynEasy LoRaWAN is its ability to monitor up to 1000 LoRaWAN sensors and 10 gateways. It is compatible with a wide range of commercially available sensors designed to work with LoRa technology. Its platform independence (FTP/s), its ability to use OpenVPN 2.5.5, and its alarm notification capabilities allow for a rapid response to any technical failure.
