AXOLINE® cables are made up of flat copper conductors with homogeneous thermoplastic insulation, thus ensuring perfect sealing against the external environment.

This range of flat cables is designed for wiring any part of the vehicle's interior.

Multiple applications:
Connecting equipment such as lights, sensors, switches, speakers, electric motors, and multimedia systems requires transmitting varying currents, up to 10 Amps. To meet this requirement, AXOLINE® cables are made of copper conductors with thicknesses and widths adapted to all types of connections.

A single cable can be composed of conductors of varying widths and thicknesses, allowing it to be used to connect equipment requiring different power levels.

High-performance insulation:
The characteristics of the chosen thermoplastic insulation ensure operation at temperatures ranging from Class 1 (80°C) to Class 6 (200°C). This insulation is flame-retardant, which contributes to the safety of the driver and passengers, and its low halogen content is environmentally friendly.

Compared to polyester insulation, which uses adhesives in the lamination process, the thermoplastic insulation of AXOLINE® cables is adhesive-free. This makes the cable moisture-resistant and gives it a longer lifespan. Furthermore, the absence of adhesives makes this insulation more competitive than polyester insulation.

AXOLINE® products comply with the hydrolysis test required by some automotive manufacturers (1000 hours in salt water at 85°C under 48V).

AXOLINE® cables are stripped using a standard mechanical system and can be supplied pre-stripped and cut to size upon request.
AXON offers shielded versions of AXOLINE® cables and can certify their EMI protection.

More space in the passenger compartment:
The electronic equipment used in automotive manufacturing is increasingly numerous, and electrical wiring represents a significant volume. Using flat conductors for automotive wiring allows for weight and space savings of up to 30% compared to traditional wiring with round cables of equivalent cross-section. The space savings resulting from using the AXOLINE® solution free up space in vehicle passenger compartments.
