MX0686PrimaryWirewebThe primary wires, already available in 52 AWG, come in a wide range of gauges (from 36 AWG to 52 AWG) and a variety of materials to enable custom designs. The high-precision extrusion process used in the manufacture of Temp-Flex MediSpec microextruded primary wires ensures uniform insulation thickness and precise wire concentricity. The puncture-free wire, with its consistent coating, provides superior reliability compared to similar products with emulsion and dispersion layers, which are prone to breakage. The chemically inert insulation is unaffected by surgical fluids and ensures biocompatibility in the human body.

Now available with insulation thicknesses as low as 0.008 mm, Temp-Flex MediSpec microextruded primary leads are designed for neurological applications, cochlear implants and other implantable devices, as well as minimally invasive catheters and endoscopes, and for use in cardiac rhythm monitoring devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators. MediSpec primary leads form the basis of MediSpec MMC (Micro Miniature Coiling) microminiature coils.
