The 2M series consists of connectors designed and tested to military standards comparable to MIL-DTL-38999. The 2M is compatible with the Glenair Mighty Mouse.
2M Micro connectors are ideal for military and aerospace applications that require smaller, faster, and more robust connectors, such as those installed in armored vehicles, data collection equipment, airplanes, helicopters, avionics computers, missiles, and drones, where electrical performance and miniaturization are key features.
They are available in aluminum and are nearly half the size and weight of standard military connectors. They come in nine configurations and three different plating options: military green cadmium, black zinc nickel, and non-electrolytic nickel. The most common configurations will be supplied, including pins and locknut receptacles, the square flange with integrated housing, and receptacles for the PCB-soldered and standoff variants. All corresponding accessories, such as caps, heat-shrink tubing, and tools, are also available.
