In low-profile applications where height above and below the PCB is critical, GCT offers bottom-mount USB 3.0 connectors. Full-size USB 3.0 connectors are mounted on the top of the PCB as standard. GCT's innovative reverse-mount connectors allow for under-board mounting, with the connectors sitting flush with the PCB to minimize height. The receptacle insulators are perfectly oriented to allow for normal cable mating with the symbol facing upwards.
The USB1115 is ideal for angled panels, with an ultra-thin body height of 5.4 mm.
The USB1110 is mounted below the PCB, while the bulk of the connector sits above it. Both connectors are supplied on ribbon and reel and are suitable for demanding high-temperature processes.
