The successful market penetration of the S12x1 quick connector, in its male and female, straight and angled versions and with a varied number of pins, has made it possible to launch a new model: the S12x1 with LED, maintaining the same IP67 protection rating as the standard version.
The new S12x1 with LED is available in male and female right-angle versions. It features two LEDs, indicating power and device status, or one LED indicating only device status. These connectors are particularly useful when the connected device lacks its own signaling system or when the signaling is located out of sight.
A key feature of all S12x1 connectors is their full compatibility with the standard M12. The S12 can be used in any existing threaded system. Escha, represented in Spain by Elion, SA, has developed a connector that, according to the MTM (Methodic Time Management) method, requires 85% less assembly time compared to the traditional M12 format.
