HARTING introduced the first members of the har-flexicon® family to the market in 2012, contributing to the miniaturization of electronic devices. These are highly miniaturized SMD-to-PCB connectors with a 1.27 mm pitch, enabling field installation.
This year, expanding the family, new SMD PCB terminals and connectors with a 2.54 mm pitch were presented at the Hannover Fair, meeting the requirements for single-cable wiring in measurement, control, and feedback technologies.
Rigid and flexible cables with cross-sections from 0.14 to 0.5 mm² are connected simply and quickly using push-in termination technology. Straight and/or angled PCB connectors are available in 2 to 12-pin configurations.
For cross-sections up to 2.5 mm², reflow-to-PCB terminals and connectors with push-in termination technology are available for pitches of 3.50/3.81 mm and 5.00/5.08 mm.
Radical miniaturization in PCB termination technology
HARTING is expanding its range of PCB terminals and PCB connectors, effectively supporting the trend towards modularization and miniaturization in industrial electronics. Product developers have maximum design freedom at their disposal.
