Molex SlimStack SMT hybrid power board-to-board connectors primarily support power functionality in batteries and other power systems for mobile devices. With a 0.40 mm pitch and an ultra-low profile mated height of only 0.75 mm, these hybrid connectors are capable of driving high currents and feature a dual-contact structure for excellent power and signal reliability. The SlimStack hybrid connector delivers 6.0 A of power and 0.3 A of signal.

With a 0.35 mm pitch and a mated height of 0.60 mm, Molex SlimStack Armor SMT board-to-board connectors primarily support signal functionality in mobile devices and other space-constrained applications. If additional power is required for value-added functions such as fast battery charging and LED flashing, the protective metal covers on SlimStack Armor connectors can supply up to 3.0 A of additional power. All Molex SlimStack connectors offer firm terminal retention. Constructed from a highly durable copper alloy, the dual contacts on the signal and power terminals reduce the risk of signal or power interruption due to shock, vibration, or drops.

SlimStack Armor connectors feature robust metal corner covers to prevent damage from misalignment during mating. When loading the terminals from below, the connectors act as a canopy, protecting the housing and preventing the terminals from being pulled out during angled uncoupling. The cover also protects the housing from wear and tear during repeated mating cycles. A wide, beveled alignment zone facilitates the mating of the male and female connectors. A tactile and audible signal confirms correct mating between the SlimStack connector and the device.
