The new series is ideal for high-power electrified and hybrid applications with high thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses, such as electric vehicles and manufacturing systems in the industrial, transportation, and commercial sectors, and energy storage systems, such as those found in data centers and electrical transformers.

Designed for design flexibility, the TS1 series offers versatile receptacle termination methods and flexible cable routing options for plugs, simplifying equipment design and improving cable management. Available in 8.0 mm and 12.0 mm contact sizes, the series can be used in many high-voltage, high-current applications.

Advanced features that enhance connector performance include a rigid metal housing and latch, 360° electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and an operating voltage of 2000 V (12.0 mm) or 1500 V (8.0 mm). The TS1 series offers a wide current capacity range, from 200 A to 450 A, and supports cables from 35 mm² to 120 mm², with individually shielded wire.

The rugged connectors are UL 4128 compliant, meet USCAR2 standards, are IP6K9K rated for environmental conditions, and have an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C. The TS1 series can withstand 500 mating cycles and 20 G of vibration at rated current.
