As vehicle architectures evolve toward 800- and 1000-volt system platforms, precise and efficient connector solutions are more important than ever. The HVR®25 has been developed for low-current auxiliary systems that require efficiency, safety, and ease of integration. Typical applications include PTC heaters, inverters, and on-board chargers (OBCs).

Compared to current Class 2 connectors, the HVR®25 reduces space and weight by up to 50%, significantly lowering the cost of both the connector and the cable assembly. Its compact design simplifies packaging and achieves an optimal balance between performance, size, and cost-effectiveness.

The HVR®25 complies with vibration standards according to LV215-2, SG3, and USCAR. It is RoHS compliant and features shielding and an integrated HVIL (high-voltage interlock). The system achieves protection classes up to IP6K9K when coupled and IPXXB when uncoupled. Its operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C ensures reliable performance in harsh environments.

The product family includes cable connectors and headers with a common interface for cable sections between 1.5 mm² and 4 mm².

• HVR®25 cable connector: stable and reliable performance, supports single-core cable assembly, and is compatible with automated manufacturing processes.
• HVR®25 connector: offers flexible terminal connection options, such as busbars or cable variants, and allows for high-density packaging and simplified installation with only two screws.
