With a power rating of up to 12.0 A per pin, the interconnect system meets the growing power demands of DC motors and drives, drive equipment, and 24 VDC auxiliary power systems in automated control systems, LED lighting applications, and commercial vehicles.
Similar to F-coded products, the T-coded mating interface prevents incorrect combination with other M12 connectors used for input/output, signal, and industrial network connections. It also provides up to two DC power circuits (two negative voltage / two positive voltage). The robust design, featuring a guided system that enables blind mating, significantly reduces the possibility of incorrect connections, especially in restricted access areas with limited visibility. To eliminate potential electrical shocks, the connector pins are recessed within the contact housing. The connector design has been improved to more efficiently dissipate the heat generated by the increased current-carrying capacity while maintaining its compact size.
The T-coded 4-pin M12 connectors are suitable for cables up to 16 AWG/1.5 mm² and have a rated operating voltage of 63 VAC/DC. Thanks to their IP67-rated sealed interface, Brad T-coded M12 power cables and connectors are ideal for use in harsh and humid industrial environments. The connector is dustproof and can be temporarily immersed in water up to one meter deep. The T-coding complies with IEC 61076-2-111, which supports an open industry standard for connectors and contributes to wider adoption across a variety of platforms and by numerous manufacturers.
Han® Q 4/0 and Han® Q 3/0 power connectors in the semiconductor industry
In the semiconductor industry, microchips are manufactured from what are known as wafers, which are composed of a high-purity crystalline material such as silicon. The wafers are initially polished and cleaned before undergoing various surface treatments, including oxidation and CVD.
