Plug-in hybrid starter controller
The new variants of Phoenix Contact's Contactron hybrid starter controllers allow for quick and easy integration into common fieldbus systems such as Profibus, Profinet, CANopen, DeviceNet, Modbus, and EtherNet/IP.
High-speed Ethernet controller for embedded systems
The W5300 model offers a data communication speed of over 50 Mbps and is distinguished by easy and simple control, embedded MAC & PHY functions and cost savings by being able to be deployed in environments without an operating system.
This controller, which can work with hardwired TCP/IP protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, ARP, IGMPv2, PPPoE, and Ethernet), also stands out for supporting eight independent sockets simultaneously, hybrid TCP/IP stack support, 128 KB of internal memory for data communication, an 8/16-bit data bus width, and LED indicators (TX, RX, Full/Half Duplex, Collision, Link, and Speed).
Additional features include support for 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet PHYs, auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDIX, an external PHY, and external and internal operating frequencies of 25 and 150 MHz, respectively.
The W5300 comes in a lead-free 14x14 LQFP-100 package with 0.18 µm CMOS technology and can operate on a 3.3 V supply voltage with a 5 V I/O signal tolerance. It also features an embedded regulator for 1.8 V core operation.
