QNV, SL presents the new JetPort-5601, a dual redundant RS232/422/485 serial port server with Ethernet connectivity. If one of the two Ethernet connections fails, the redundant path is activated in less than 200 ms, enabling a highly secure communication link in harsh environments or in the presence of vibrations.
It allows up to 5 clients to connect simultaneously to the serial port, using virtual COM, TCP Server/Client, or UDP connections. It can be configured in Tunnel mode, where two serial ports can communicate with each other over the network without intermediary computers.
Any port or power supply issues are immediately reported via email or SNMP trap and stored internally. It supports operating temperatures between -10 and +70 °C and power supplies between 12 and 48 VDC.
