SFP ports offer great versatility for fiber optic connectivity by enabling switching from single-mode to multi-mode fiber, from one to two fibers, or increasing the connection distance (up to 20, 40, and 80 kilometers) simply by swapping the SFP transceiver.
This device, which supports IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x standards at 10/100/1000 Mbps, can also connect 100Base-T UTP SFP modules to provide additional Gigabit RJ45 ports.
The ESGC, manufactured in Spain, features auto-negotiating 10/100/1000Base-T speeds, full-duplex and half-duplex operating modes, auto MDI/MDIX crossover, low power consumption, an industrial operating temperature range (-40 to +74 °C), and is available in standalone or DIN rail mounting formats.
Like all other equipment manufactured by ADILEC, this switch is completely transparent to communications and offers high reliability (with an MTBF of 100,000 hours).
The ESGC9416 (standalone) model measures 41 x 106 x 165 mm and weighs 395 grams.
