WaveLine managed switches include features such as: auto-negotiation, redundant power supply, programmable fault relays for PLC support (max. 24 V/0.5 A), SNMP, LLDP, Rapid Ring™, RSTP 802.3w, IGMP snooping, MAC browser (MAC lookup function), Port Trunking, Port Mirroring and port configuration functionality, VLAN, QoS, TOS, Diffserv, autocrossing, autopolarity, filter table and forwarding.

Physical configuration is possible via a USB console or an Ethernet network, and software configuration adjustments can also be made via a console, browser, SNMP, or the device configurator.

These switches, which have digital I/O to control other devices, can operate without restrictions in a temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C.

Thanks to the redundant and reliable Rapid Ring connection, the WaveLine switches, equipped with a compact WaveLine housing (IP20 protection rating), are available in versions with either 8 RJ45 ports or 6 RJ45 ports and two fiber optic ports. The optional fiber optic ports with SC, ST, LC, or SCRJ connectors can be either multimode or single-mode.
