The Han® ES Press's Cage Clamp termination is supplied open, allowing for direct and effortless cable insertion. Once the operator presses on the actuator, the internal spring returns to its initial position, securing the cable and making the electrical connection between the contact and the conductor. This termination technique enables quick and tool-free wiring. The Han® ES Press is the first product in the Han E® family to allow individual contacts to be bridged for potential multiplication. Various bridges are available in longitudinal and transverse configurations, enabling, for example, star/delta connections for motor power supplies. Different colors are used to identify each potential level.
The Han® ES Press is available in 6, 10, 16, and 24-contact models for Han® 6B, 10B, 16B, and 24B enclosure sizes. The insulators are compatible with those from the Han® E, ES, and ESS ranges. They offer the same current-carrying capacity as the entire series: a maximum of 16 A per contact for solid or stranded conductor cross-sections (with or without ferrule) between 0.14 m² and 10 m²
2 and 2.5 m
