It incorporates AndroidOS, an integrated touchscreen, NFC reader and up to 100W of power delivery via USB-C, facilitating the digitization of workspaces and the optimization of staff turnover in modern offices.
The TDD-1000 acts as an interaction point for users and a connection station for their devices, occupying just half a DIN A5 pad (21.5 x 16.3 cm). It is available in three versions: one with a 15W wireless charger, another with a long-range NFC reader, and a third with an Apple-compatible NFC reader, enabling access via cards, tags, mobile phones, or even iPhones for time tracking. Its 3.9-inch touchscreen uses a direct optical bonding system—a technology that improves contrast and readability—and clearly displays the applications needed for managing workstations, reservations, timekeeping, and internal communication.
In addition to its function as a management terminal, the device offers advanced connectivity, allowing it to power laptops with up to 100W and connect peripherals via multiple USB-C and USB-A ports. It also integrates Bluetooth 5.0, 1 Gbit/s Ethernet, WiFi 5, and support for up to two 4K monitors through HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. The cabling is protected at the rear by a cover that prevents snags and contributes to the device's durability in environments with constant user turnover, while the front includes two USB-C ports and one USB-A port for quick access.
The screen reaches a maximum brightness of 400 nits and adjusts its brightness according to ambient light using an integrated sensor. A front LED indicator shows whether a workstation is available, reserved, or in use, facilitating quick identification of each space's status. In addition to advance bookings via computer or mobile device, the TDD-1000 allows for walk-in bookings directly at the workstation using compatible applications, such as those developed by Zeitwart.
The terminal runs on Android 13, optimized for enterprise use, and receives regular security updates. It is compatible with a wide ecosystem of professional applications, enabling integration with existing systems for managing workstations, meeting rooms, calendars, and access control. According to Pablo Entrena, Business Development Manager at Concept International, “the TDD-1000 is not simply a docking station with a screen, but an open and versatile solution capable of integrating with common space and resource management systems. It is a future-proof tool and very useful for integrators looking to offer value-added solutions to their clients.” The device even allows users to operate an Android smartphone as a desktop computer through features such as Samsung DeX or the operating system's own desktop mode, facilitating work models based on personal devices.
The Qbic TDD-1000 is now available in Spain with a recommended price between €750 and €850, depending on the configuration. Concept International offers its Total Preparation Service for preparing and customizing the device for corporate projects, including extended testing and support during implementation. The standard warranty is two years, extendable to five, with special conditions for distributors.
