The UH104 is primarily designed for the industrial automation, instrumentation, security, kiosk, point-of-sale, and laboratory applications markets. The hub is designed, tested, and proven to be robust enough for harsh industrial environments, meeting EN61000-6-1 standards. Its construction was validated using the IEC60068-2-32 drop test, and it also adheres to 15 kV ESD protection and FCC/CISPR Class B standards.
This entry-level hub features many of the features of B&B's top-of-the-range USB hubs, although it does not include the built-in surge protection or electrical isolation, features designed for use in ultra-rugged applications.
