Zyxel's new SBG3300-N, SBG3500-N, and SBG3600-N series feature multiple wideband network (WAN) interfaces and support a wide range of connections, including ADSL, VDSL, Ethernet, fiber, and mobile broadband. The SBG3500-N and SBG3600-N series are highly flexible and can use an SFP (Small Form-Field Pluggable) interface to connect fiber optic Ethernet over much longer distances than Gigabit networks, or simply connect to other Ethernet WAN devices without incurring additional fiber optic costs. The SBG3600-N further expands mobile options by offering multi-band LTE mobile broadband access (3G and dual-mode LTE) for premium enterprise services and seamless mobile connectivity. This series also offers advanced VDSL2 bonding and vectoring capabilities, enabling small businesses to upgrade from ADSL to VDSL and benefit from an internet speed increase of up to 100 Mbps without replacing their ZyXEL box. This is especially useful for growing businesses seeking a flexible network solution tailored to their needs.
With advanced built-in security features, the new ZyXEL SBG series also provides top-tier defense against threats and ensures the network remains protected internally. This is becoming increasingly relevant as more and more employees adopt flexible work practices and want to use the same cloud and web applications and devices for both personal and professional use. While small businesses need to keep pace with this trend, from an IT perspective, network security has never been more critical. Furthermore, the SBG3300-N's Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows small businesses to provide secure connections to remote workers and multiple offices, thereby maintaining the protection of external corporate networks as well.
Along with reduced operating costs and increased service reliability, the SBG series' integrated WLAN controller makes it easy to add more access points (APs) and meet the needs of a growing business with maximum connectivity.
Gonzalo Echeverría, Channel Manager for ZyXEL in Iberia, comments: "SMEs want to focus on running their business, improving customer service, and outperforming the competition. They don't want to worry about an inconsistent and insecure network. Our new Small Business Gateway series is designed to provide a secure and cost-effective solution that meets the connectivity needs of a growing company. The SBG series adapts to today's employees' work styles while ensuring the highest level of security."
