SN4670webThe ITU G.992.5 ADSL modem reduces equipment costs, simplifies network architecture, and streamlines deployment for service providers and SMEs. The new PRI-class and BRI-class VoIP IADs combine ADSL WAN access with VoIP gateway and router functionalities in a single device.

The one-box solution eliminates the cost and complexity of an external ADSL modem when migrating legacy PBX phone systems to IP. The ADSL IADs feature a common interface with the service provider, regardless of the voice equipment used on the customer's premises.

The ITU G.992.5 ADSL2+ interface is available on the SmartNode 4670 BRI/FXS/FXO VoIP IAD (8 to 16 calls) and the SmartNode 4990 VoIP IAD PRI/T1/E1 (15 to 120 calls). Both are ideal for connecting traditional PBX systems with ITSP and SIP Trunking services.
